One Day Shimba Hills National Reserve Trip

The park is is a tropical rain forest, refreshingly cool compared to the heat and humidity of Diani Beach. Shimba Hills National Reserve is a very small park and offers the last of Kenya’s coastal rainforest, waterfalls and the rare sable antelope. Other animals that can be seen on this safari include colobus monkeys, antelopes, kongoni, waterbuck, klipspringer, impala, gazelles, giraffes, buffalo and leopard, a wide species of monkeys and birds. The park has one of the highest population density of elephants. Full morning game drive in the reserve with a visit to Sheldrick falls. Go down the hill, 45 minutes gentle walk takes you to the breathtaking spectacular fall.
