Gems of Tsavo

5 Days

Flora and fauna, photography and physical activities

This safari starts from Diani beach, ending in Diani beach. We offer unique activities and services for memorable experiences besides traditional game drives.

Ever wondered what Shetani lava means? The local community likened the eruption to work of the devil, shetani. Hence the name Shetani(devil) lava. Touch and walk on the black dead lava surrounded by Chyulu and Ngulia hills. On a lucky day you can see Klipspringer deer hanging around the lava rocks.

A visit to the Rhino sanctuary in Tsavo west gives you a chance to see the black rhino and other animals.

A walking safari around Mzima springs is a must for you to see where water used in Mombasa comes from. Watch live fish swim very close through the glass of underwater tank. Birds, monkeys, crocodiles, hippos and beautiful yellow fever acacia trees turn the experience magical.

Do you fancy a hike during safari, Chaimu hill offers you that friendly taste to the top and back. With a ranger escort you will enjoy the aerial view of  Tsavo west park atop Chaimu hill and Roaring rock.

A cold glass of sparkling wine would make you enjoy an African sundowner at the Poachers lookout. Watch the sun go down on the horizon and vividly see Kilimanjaro.

Take a walk on the 2dkm Mudada rock with wonderful aerial view of Tsavo east. Wild animals could be roaming freely at a distance.

Do you love the sound of waterfalls, pods of hippos wheezes and honks?  Ranger-escorted walk along  Galana river brings you closer to the water lovers and other wild animals.

We recommend you try a night game drive to learn about nocturnal  animals behavior.
